Annette Funicello has passed away at 70 after a long battle with MS. Annette will be remembered as one of the most popular original Mouseketeers during her stint on The Mickey Mouse Club in the '50s, as well as the eponymous "girl next door" thanks to her beach party movie roles in the '60s with Frankie Avalon. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the early '90s and in 1993 wrote her autobiography, A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes, in which she detailed her battle against MS and her search for a cure. As we say goodbye to one of America's sweethearts, let's take a look back at her career moments.
