Hey there! I'm Lauren Bradshaw. 2011 was full of major celebrity news from Oprah's daytime goodbye, to Jennifer Lopez's shocking split, to the wedding that had us all glued to our TV's. We're kind and then down with our five biggest headlines of the year. At number 5 we have our fondest and most epic farewells. It will always be a part of my life. It was the end of a long run for the Harry Potter franchise, after 10 years and 8 films. The successful series finally came to a close this summer, with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part two. As a huge Harry Potter fan, I was definitely sad to see the final movie, because there's no more coming out, but there's still a ton of stuff out there for Harry Potter fans. There's going to be two Wizarding World of Harry Potters when the one in California opens, plus they're opening up the actual studios where they shot the movie in UK for tours. That's going to be awesome. I'll just say, until we meet again. The small screen also had its share of fun farewell. Talk show queen Oprah signed off in May after a 25 year run, though she's keeping plenty busy now with her Oprah Winfrey Network. And TV other daytime regular, Regis Philbin, retired from Live in November after a whopping 28 years on the air. At number 4, Hollywood's new mom-to-be made some very public baby announcement. Beyonc chose the MTV VMA's to reveal her baby bump in August, while proud dad Jay-Z looked on from the front row. But she wasn't the only one who made her bump public. Jessica Simpson broke her happy news on Halloween by tweeting a photo of herself dressed up as a mummy. And little Harper Beckham had her debut on Twitter and Facebook as well. Victoria and David showed off the beautiful pics of their newborn in July, just one week after welcoming her into world. But what would any year be without a few celebrity splits. They make our list at number 3. After rumors of infidelity hit the tabloids earlier in the year, Demi Moore filed for divorce from Ashton Kutcher in November, ending their 6 year marriage. Also surprising, Jennifer Lopez' split from Marc Anthony. Everything seemed to be going fine between Jennifer and Mark, so their split kind of came as a big surprise this year. It seems like may be their busy schedules were part of the problem. But Jennifer's already bounced back. She even has a new guy to help her start out the new year. And then there was the marriage that was over just weeks after after the honeymoon, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries. Friends and Family, I would like to present for the first time, Mr and Mrs. Kris Humphries. After whirlwind courtship and over the top TV wedding ceremony, Kim and Chris' time as newlyweds came to an abrupt end in October, as Kim filed for divorce from her new husband, just 72 days after they tied the knot. Of course Kim and Kris weren't the only stars to say "I do" this year, at number So we are looking at some of our favorite celebrities wedding ceremonies. It was just my family and it was great. Kids dancing. Tossed turning a low-key ceremony at her Ojai ranch in April. Reese shared a peak at her big day and her pale pink Monique Lhuillier gown with People magazine also the bride. Kate Moss chose to debut her wedding in the pages of vogue. The supermodel wed boyfriend, Jamie Hince of The Kills in July in Galliano gown and the fashion magazine chronicled the gorgeous day in the English countryside in its September issue. And then there was the wedding that was broadcast for the entire world to see. We're talking of course about the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Kate will and the rest the royal family top on list as the number one biggest headline of 2011. The Royals really came into the spot light this year 2 billion people watched the royal wedding and all eye's are still on Will and Kate. They are just like regular celebrities. Photographers even follow Kate to the grocery store. Since they tied the knot, William and Kate have been everywhere from charity events in England to even Hollywood. They visited Canada and California in July where they met A-listers like Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Lopez. And Prince Harry also made his own trip to the US later in the year, where he was spotted partying in Vegas. But don't forget the breakout star of the wedding, Pippa. Pippa's outfit... Pippa... Pippa the bridesmaids! Oh my gosh! Look at that dress! Hot! Kate's younger sister caught everyone's eye with her body-hugging bridesmaid's dress and Barbara Walters even named her one of the most fascinating people of the year. Tell us which headline was your favorite this year, and thanks for watching PopSugarTV. Have a Happy New Year.
