Bush Agrees to "General Time Horizon" For Troop Reductions
The US and Iraq have agreed to seek "a general time horizon" for deeper reductions in American combat troops in Iraq despite President Bush's once-inflexible opposition to talking about deadlines and timetables. Iraqi officials have been pressuring the US to agree to a specific timeline to withdraw forces. The White House said Friday that the timeframe being discussed would not be "an arbitrary date for withdrawal."

Seriously. I can hear the scary voiceover ad now: "George Bush has been the worst screw up in history! But now, he's flip flopped and is making rational decisions. Is that the kind of leadership you can count on for your children? George Bush: Wrong on consistency, wrong for America."

Who has set or called for an arbitrary date for withdrawal? I wonder if Bush, if not a flip flopper, is becoming an 'evicted from Iraq-er'?

Wow, first meeting with Iran, now this? If I didn't think it was silly I might call Bush a flip flopper.
