Bush: Financial Rescue Plan Will Take Some Time President Bush says the economy is going to be "just fine" in the long run but that the taxpayer-supported economic rescue plan will take time to work. The president spoke as Wall Street suffered through another traumatic session Monday, with the Dow Jones industrials plunging as much as 800 points and setting a new record for a one-day point drop. Bush said: "I believe that in the long run, this economy is going to be just fine."

Way to state the obvious Bush, of course it will be fine in the long run. Otherwise we'll be forever domed in this financial peril which is absurd to think! Things will eventually work out and through different bills and propositions passed and action taken, just like after the damn ice age lol. Ha, if nothing were going to be fine in the long run, it doesn't really give much of a purpose to anyone to continue going now does it?? And thankfully he won't be in office much longer...so yet another reason why we can start to look up:)

This is from http://keatingeconomics.com regarding our economic crisis and if McCain is going to be the one who inherits the job of turning it around. "The current economic crisis demands that we understand John McCain's attitudes about economic oversight and corporate influence in federal regulation. Nothing illustrates the danger of his approach more clearly than his central role in the savings and loan scandal of the late '80s and early '90s." Every voter needs to watch this: http://keatingeconomics.com
