Bush: No Regrets Over Iraq Invasion
CNN reports: US President George W. Bush says he had no regrets about the decision to invade Iraq and topple Saddam Hussein in 2003. "Removing Saddam Hussein made the world a safer place," Bush said. But he admitted once again that he regretted the tough rhetoric he had used had made it appear he was eager to go to war. In an interview with UK's Times newspaper Wednesday, Bush said using phrases such as "dead or alive" and "bring them on" had not created an impression of a man of peace.

is he evil like cheney or just stupid? i don't think he is evil. our war was responsible for many more deaths than saddam caused.

Stiletta, by your logic we should overthrow every dictator. Why not North Korea or China? I mean, they're pretty inhumane.

I don't think he has anything to regret except letting Rumsfeld handle his failed strategy for so long. Why does anyone still believe that Iraq was a mistake? What was the alternative? To have Saddam Hussein still there?

There is no way that man will ever regret this decision. A person's pysche would not allow that you know? No matter what he will convince himself it was the right thing regardless of what evidence to the contrary presents itself. Otherwise he couldn't live with himself.
