85 Types of Kisses Everyone Should Experience at Least Once

Can You Laugh at Yourself?

Last night on The Bachelor, the women traded in battling for a kiss for fighting to be the best comedian. Pilot Jake made his dates perform at a comedy club, and when contestant Corrie took the stage, glares surprisingly turned to chuckles.

Corrie's act involved mocking all the other women in the house. Watching, I went back and forth on whether the jokes were good-natured or malicious, but regardless of the tone she definitely succeeded in getting at least a few of her competitors to laugh at themselves, and perhaps more enthusiastically, each other. Can you laugh when someone points out your unflattering but admittedly hilarious qualities?

All the time...and half the time there aren't even other people around. What I don't like, however, is when people mock me. There is a HUGE difference.

I'm not a make-fun-of-people in a mocking way type of person, so this would have pissed me off.

Im like nevaeh1978. I don't have a problem laughing at myself but the timing has to be right and I get peed off if I feel like someone wants to diss me.

I can't remember a single time I was embarrassed and laughed about it afterwards.

Oh, dude, all the time. Life's too short to not be able to laugh at yourself.

I do, especially when I fall over, or somehow hurt myself. Having a good laugh about it is heaps better than having a sulk.

I try to. Like today I forgot my Tuesday class starts at 5pm because all my other classes are at 7pm. I got ready and went to class at 7 to find out I was 2 hours late. I felt dumb but I had to laugh.

Yes, most of the time. I still have a few buttons that put me in a foul / sensitive mood when pressed, though.

I try. Sometimes I have to, but there are some things I'm sensitive about.

I LOL easily even about myself. But the timing is important (and of course, the joke is important too, I don't laugh if it's not funny). If we're in a fight and my hub decided to crack a joke about my past mistakes, I'd not be too happy. But I did LOL when that one time he mimicked my mad expression. I tried so hard to not laugh but couldn't help it. Ugh. He's now teaching our son to get away with things this way when I was scolding him.

The majority of the time. Sometimes I embarass myself enough that I can't laugh along, but usually I do. And if anyone makes fat jokes about me, I'm usually the first to laugh and last to get offended (all my skinny friends get offended for me though, which I think is just weird).
