Clinton Limits Palin Criticism While Campaigning

Clinton Limits Palin Criticism While Campaigning Sen. Hillary Clinton marched for labor and stumped with Democrats on Saturday, but sidestepped questions about the woman who has taken her place as the nation's most-talked-about female leader. Clinton brushed aside questions about Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin saying, "This election is about issues, and that's what's going to matter to people at the end of the day," she told reporters who asked her about the Alaska governor.

I want HC to run but I have a feeling she may not go for it in 2016 - I don't know if she would even want to go through it again!

If I were her kas I would go to Bermuda or something after the election and have a nice big cocktail. :)

Clinton, Obama and McCain all looked much younger at the beginning of this process. And all of them still have work yet to be done since it looks like Clinton will be stumping for Obama. I bet they can't wait for November.

LOL that's okay lilkimbo. It's one of my favorite topics. ;) I think if her health holds up she will. BUT jeeze I mean would you want to run again? It's gotta be one of the most stressful processes there is. You can see Obama aging a bit already.

I just read your comments on it on the first page, HF! Sorry. I thought I read everything, but I must have skipped over that comment or two. Sorry. :innocent:

Oh, and good for Clinton. HF (and anyone else who has followed her a lot more closely than I have), do you think she would run in eight years? I'm guessing she would run in four if Obama's not elected in November, but what do you think about the likelihood of her running in 2016?

Palin has an interview scheduled with Charles Gibson, so I guess the whole, "she doesn't have the guts to face the press" argument has been proven invalid.

dreamsugar: droool that would be fantastic! HF: "That's what makes me nuts! People are going to bat with the sexism being thrown Palin's way, but STILL say things like Hillary is riding her husband's coattails. Which she has CLEARLY accomplished things and made a name for herself at this point which has nothing to do with good ole bubba. She's surpassed him." It's absolutely insane, it's like by the virtue of having a successful politician for a husband, she automatically can't be regarded as having her own accomplishments! This is why I'm glad my bf is a physicist and I'm going to be an attorney...someday when I'm running for President no one will be able to accuse me of riding my husband's coattails! I mean, early in her career wasn't there talk about her eventually running for President, and she kind of stalled that by following Bill to Arkansas? You shouldn't be automatically denegrated because you made a decision for "love," especially not when you STILL went on to accomplish great things! And especially not when the status of Palin's uterus is used as one of her strongest selling points! And politics aside, Palin's experience just does NOT compare to HRC's. She was governor for a couple years, yes, Hillary was never governor. But aside from that fact, in terms of overall experience HRC's career is miles ahead of Palin's. And please, I love it when Republicans make comments to the effect, "Senators and congressmen are useless and don't do anything really." Please: check John McCain's resume.

Well if we're lucky -- I hope we get Obama for 8 years -- the Hillary for another eight -- a good solid block of prosperity.

Rac, perhaps Obama had the same fears about Hill and that's why she isn't the VP?

Hillary doesn't need to attack Palin in the press. She will wait until dark, slip under night's protective cover and take her life when the moment is right.

I was always a Hil supporter - but I avoided the comments in here because they were not worth addressing. And I have had to argue in real life so much about why I support her that the last thing I had energy to do was type the same. But I am with you Hil supporters!
