Maybe it will move voters to press the Senate to stop this nonsense.

Hey guys! I just took it out of the group. We try to cross-post stories that might be relevant to particular groups, so it's easier for you to find. That's all. And on the topic of the Rep. Speier's speech, I thought it was very moving and brave. Doesn't look like it convinced many Republicans though, who still voted against PP funding.

Also, in 4.0, we tend to intentionally not post articles on abortion as they rarely lead to a meaningful dialogue. So, thanks, Tres!

It isn't that we aren't interested in this topic, it is that abortion isn't the only issue women are interested in. This is the third post on this with no new information and it is being posted both in tres and in 4.0. 4.0 can post their own news stories, thanks.

:rotfl: I was distracted when I opened this Betty & nearly had a stroke when I saw "Seriously I've never been to Lybia..." Nice job!

Britney's new video IS life altering! And I have a uterus so I desperately need to know everything ever that even loosely relates to abortion! Seriously I've never been to Lybia or Wisconsin, why should I care what happens there? I don't know if ya'll saw last week a post popped up in group therapy about dissatisfaction with some of the topics on tressugar, apparently when we asked for more intelligent/debatable topics, someone took that to mean post daily in 4.0 about abortion.

Jessie I suspect they are trying to get a higher comment count on Tres articles and think that simultaneously posting in Tres and 4.0 might be the way to do it, but I can't help but feel that our group is being infringed upon a little bit. I also suspect that you are right about the "teen girl" thing. At least going by which celebrities are focused on by Pop.

ITA Kas and not only are they popping up, but the extra links are well. It feels like spam. I don't hang out on Tres for a reason. There seems to be an overall underestimating of what women are interested in on Sugar...but I get the impression they are catering to teen girls more now anyway.

I'm glad someone stood up to say something. I feel like the country needs to focus on so many more important things than planned parenthood. Like the deficit, and the war, and jobs, and crumbling infrastructure, and equal marriage rights, and a lot more that I'm probably missing...

Um, this is like the 5th or 6th abortion topic on tres this week. How about a little more variety.

Why are Tres sugar posts like this going up in 4.0? If 4.0 readers wanted to read Tres sugar, they would. 4.0 was made as a conscious effort to move away from Tres sugar after Citizen Sugar went away. And seriously, another post on abortion this week put in 4.0? Is there nothing else happening in the world of politics. Women don't only care about what has been labled "women's issues"!! This kind of reporting is what led to the creation of 4.0 in the first place.

Really - Wisconsin is tearing itself over jobs & the economy. If the governor wins, no one there will be able to afford kids!
