Dear Poll: Have You Ever Mistakenly Accused Someone?

Around here we talk a lot about how important it is to trust your instincts, which I’m a huge supporter of. We have those instincts for a reason! But every once and a while wires get crossed somewhere along the way and we misconstrue what are gut is telling us. I know this has happened to me before, and my incorrect instincts have led me to make a false accusation for which later, I felt rather foolish. I’m sure it’s more of an exception than a rule, but have you ever accused someone of something they didn’t do?

When it comes to men we all know what road this will lead to! I thought I saw my man talking with his ex one day when I came home from work. He was checking the mail but was stopped by a SUV that looked just like his exes! What made me think it was her is b/c someone in my complex informed me that they seen her riding by my house. He informed me that is was a man looking for direction's to another apartment! I was feeling kinda ashamed by the way I acted but when you get this person that can't leave you alone what else is your mate suppose to think! Since then I ask question's and then if it's not adding up I take matters in to my own hand's, INVESTAGATION!!

Yes, a friend. She was offended and hurt, and I felt horrible. Definitely learnt my lesson, never again.

I'm a very upfront person and I always give a person the opportunity to tell me the straightforward truth. If something doesn't add up and they don't clarify which leads me to assume the worst. I conclude the best answer I can analyze. If it's wrong, I don't assume the blame because I asked for the truth. Even if you're wrong you still suffered...why play games and cause someone undue stress anyway. Usually I'm right though.
