Dear Poll: How Often Do You Go Braless?

I happen to have a bigger chest, and while it can be great to have boobs sometimes, it can also be a burden. I'd love to wear backless dresses or tank tops without a bra, but I just can't get away with it. I'm always jealous of the girls that can and while I certainly wouldn't want to do it every day, it would be a thrill to leave the bra at home every once and awhile. So tell me ladies, how often do you go braless?

I can't! It's so uncomfortable and they just seem to eat my waistline! I look like a 80 yr old lady!

Never quite understood there purpose. They are uncomfortable, unnecessary (unless you are a "c" cup or larger, and wearing one with a spaghetti string tank top is more tacky than men that wear white socks with sandals. I always wear one to work and some family functions, but other than that I am more comfortable without one, my boyfriend prefers I go without, I feel sexier without, more natural and if you think about it, it truly is a useless garment. Only in america are women willinng to sleep with almost anyone, but feel cheap without a bra...go figure. Go hollywood or European or Brazilian...you seldom see them wearing bras. I am a "B' cup by the way.

Never. I am a small 34B, and have decided these things were killing me. I enjoy the freedom of not wearing one to work, I wear several layers, and topless at home. The bras were hurting me, so I decided, to heck with it, never again. And no, I don't feel self conscious about it, I buy my clothing accordingly. Feels sweet!!

The thing about being braless... That hot guy across the room can tell how hot you are. The creepy guy across the room can also tell how hot you are. Anymore I feel uncomfortable dressing too sexy. It can be an invitation to guys that you don't want attention from! If I have a sexy tank I want to wear, I will usually throw a cute jacket over it until I get to my destination. I always wear a bra, unless I am at home with my boyfriend.

At 27 and being 36C (almost D) going braless is not an option. If it is a designer's dress custom made for me I might.

I don't wear it when I'm at home or running errands. I NEVER wear it when my boyfriend is over...not even when my mom is over. However, I feel a bit nippy (and skanky) if I'm braless at school...even in a lecture room with 200 people.

I am a 32 C so I always wear one except for when I am @ home and sleeping. I hate wearing bras though. I am thinking about getting a sports bra. Maybe that will make them feel better.

When I get home from work, I always take off my bra and I NEVER sleep in one. And when I go out, it depends on the top.

I really don't wear mine that often. Never with tank tops because strapless are annoying. I often get complimented on the perkiness of my chest....but I've decided that maybe if I'd like to keep them that way, I should put the bra back on. Damn.

I had a reduction mammaplasty (breast reduction) in 2005. I have never been happier! I went from a 38DD to a 38C. At 33, my girls are high and firm AND my nipples are up where they belong. LOL I love being able to go braless around the house, but I'm still not comfortable enough to go out in public w/o a shelf bra at a minimum.

I agree with SummerBaby's comment (exact same situation) and I NEVER go to sleep in a bra! Oh yeah, a piercing artist (?) one told my friend that your tits get saggier the more you wear a bra as your breasts become "lazy" without one. Don't know if it's true but it makes me glad I take the odd occasion to go without/not sleep in one!
