375 Reasons Why Being a '90s Girl Rocked Our Jellies Off

Dear Poll: Is she Overstepping her Boundaries?

I'll admit it...I am a huge Hills fan! While I think all the characters are a wee bit ridiculous, I can't get enough of their high school drama and cat fighting ways.

It's pretty clear that LC has some issues with her friends' boyfriends. I understand the nature of being a little over-protective of the ones you love, but there's a thin line that's sometimes hard to see when it comes to getting too involved in your friends' personal lives. So if you're keeping up with the drama of The Hills like me, I want to know if you think LC is overstepping her boundaries in her friendships.

I think if your friend is crying on your shoulder all the damn time youhave every right to put your two cents in.

it's nice that she cares a lot about her friends but i have come to notice how worked up she gets about who her friends go out with.. i've never seen her happy with her friends' decisions on guys.. lol

I think that Lauren needs to realize that she does NOT know everything! She seems to think that her opinion should matter more to her friends than anything else in their lives, which is absolutely ridiculous. For example, when I first started dating my boyfriend none of my friends liked him at all, but that's because they didn't really know him yet. Now we've been together for two and a half years and my friends adore him - but they had to learn to let me make my own decisions about my life and relationships; something LC definitely needs to learn fast lest she be left with no friends at all!

Justin Bobby and Spencer are both completely obnoxious and as a friend she should say something. I will admit that she seems obsessed with it and probably should find a boy she's interested in for herself. But come on ... both Spencer and Justin Bobby are SO BAD!

Eh I dislike Lauren so much that I can't even watch the show anymore. She's so snobby

her friends pick freaks, what can she do? and i'm new to the show, so this doesn't go back farther than about a month ago.(p.s. heidi is an idiot)

I think Lauren is right to look out for her friends. They're asshole magnets!

You're all just siding with LC because you're fans of her from a previous show and think she can do no wrong. She needs to but out of other peoples business. Her friends don't get into hers when she has a boyfriend.

I think Lauren's friends chose awful guys and it's rough to watch your friends date them - but you gotta let friends make their own mistakes, even if they've asked for advice and you've told them to get rid of the guy. I think she'll figure it out though - but it's no easy task.

I think since Lauren's been a reality tv star for so much longer than Heidi and Audrina she can tell when a guy is just getting close to her to be on tv. JustinBobby is totally using Audrina, but she's blind to it. And Spncer bragged to Details magazine that he and Brody were going to date reality tv girls to get famous. Spencer thinks he IS part of the cast, he's so egomaniacal and insane.

Our personalities might clash, but as long as the b/f was not trying to harm me intentionally in any way then live and let live. And she should talk anyways, she keeps going back to the jerk guy (jason) as well just as Heidi and Audrina do (spencer and justin respectivly). *sigh* young love....

I dont think that LC feels threatened by her friends relationships come on look at the guys: Spencer and justin-bobby. Heidi was a different story, I think she step out of line to protect her best friend but she was not having it. LC also was not aware that Heidi was a famewhore in disguise. With Audrina, like she said in the beginning of the episode " you are a smart girl... you know what you are doing". Personally, I wish that LC hang out with only Lo and forget all this drama chicks that constantly want her opinion of their loser boyfriend.

I am a big hills fan and watching how lauren acted last season and how she is so far acting this season, it seems like she has issues with her friends having boyfriends. Some of my friends might be dating guys that I dont think so highly of but still i never say anything outright to my friend if it is only going to make their relationship harder. I try to befriend him and not instigate, which is a favorite pastime for Lauren. She has to just chill and let her friends be. I also thinks she has so many relationship issues herself that she feel threatened by her friends relationships too.

I think it's sort of sad how obsessed she is with her friends' love lives. She doesn't act like that when she's the one with the boyfriend...

I think there is a lot of behind the scenes editing... which make it seem like her life revolves around her friend's love life.

I LOVE the Hills!! LC does have some issues but I have to agree with her, the guys her friends go for suck. But then again, she dated Brody and Jason, not exactly awesome guys! I guess saying something once is enough, ulimately they will do what they want. EI: Heidi!!

Funny, as much as i love the show, I said the same thing to a friend today about Lauren, she is on the cusp of coming across as a frined who doesn't like it when she is single and her friends are dating. I hope this isn't the case and want to believe that she is truly looking out for her friends best interests. I guess we will have to wait and see. You can catch the shows on mtv.com.

I think that Lauren is doing the right thing. I started to get a little weird about it because I thought she was gonna make an issue. But, it was pretty messed up of Audrina to offer the tickets to JB when her and Lauren had already made plans.

I love the hills!!!! I think that Lauren can tell Audrina what she feels once and if Audrina doesn't follow her advice then Lauren shouldn't say anything else. BUT Audrina should respect that she should not keep bringing up her situation to Lauren and keep asking for advice or keep asking for help with her problems. Lauren ran into that with Heidi. Heidi knew that lauren didn't like Spencer yet heidi always wanted to talk to Lauren about Spencer but never wanted to "hear" what Lauren was saying - that Spencer was a bad guy. If Audrina doesn't want to really hear Lauren's opinion after the first time, don't expect Lauren to want to talk about it again.

I think her problem is that she isn't very interesting. I've tried to watch this show, but always end up distracted by peeling paint or a dead moth on the window sill.
