Do Tell: What's the Perfect Romantic Getaway Spot?

Being paired up comes with some perks — and whisking each other away on a romantic getaway is one of the best! Ditching your routine for some relaxation and adventure, while sneaking in the kisses and hand-holding you never have time for, makes for a lovely vacation.

If you could jet somewhere with a love interest, be it a budding relationship or a long-term lover, where would you go?

I think dancing, just like that, with my handsome mariachi husband on a beach in Mexico would be heaven! (FYI - I've done ballet folklorico for years. In fact I have an almost identical dress I made! And hubby really is a mariachi player...)

My fiance has seen all of Europe, since he lived in France for 3 years. He loves France, but I'm netrual. I want to go to Italy, definitely.

Tuscany. My husband and I went to Italy on our honeymoon and Tuscany was definitely the romantic highlight, even better than Venice or Rome.

I love that photograph! The beaches in Spain sound divine - exotic, beautiful, warm, relaxing, fun - what more could you want?

I've been reminiscing about past Mexico and beach trips this spring, and desperately wishing I had travel plans this summer :( Something more likely would be a trip to the mountains. Beautiful, but not exotic.

I did a long roadtrip with my (ex?)boyfriend down the California coast (yay for the 1, Phil!) and it was pretty awesome. However, I'd have to go with Italy. No end to the romance there.

Any small quaint beach town in the summer. I love everything about the beach. The smell of the air, sunsets, warm sand, listening to the waves crash. I can't wait to go back to the beach this summer.

A drive along California's Highway 1 in the middle of spring with an adequate supply of allergy meds, on to the Monterey Bay aquarium.

I've always wanted to go to Paris, and now that I'm married I can't imagine a more romantic destination. Someday! :)
