Do Tell: What Would You Ask a Psychic About Your Future?

I've never been to a psychic before, but I know people who swear by them. I guess I'm just too afraid of knowing what's in store for me — I might not like what I hear. I'd rather live my life and leave the outcome to chance and fate. But what about you? If you're interested in learning about your future, do tell, what's the one question you would ask a psychic?

even if i don't believe the psychic is a real deal, it still sounds fun. of course, i'd ask the predictable questions - about the future of my sons, husband, and career. btw - i had my palm read once. it was a fun experience and others should try it. even if her prediction was wrong...

Well I have a man that I feel it's my destiny to be with but I've known him for 5 years and things just haven't aligned the right way. I'm moving to NYC in two months and I'd like to know where the situation with the man is going and if leaving is the right decision.

I've gone for a reading many times. When ever I'm feeling really down, I go to her. She gives terrific advice! The first thing I want to know is career, career, career... My psychic is VERY good. Always tells me to keep my eyes wide open and to be patient. There is no knowing of when things will happen, she just knows that it will. I couldnt give a crap about my love life, though. THAT will happen when it happens, and personally I dont like rushing things. I dont like knowing about those things. I feel it would spoil the suprise. And it did, actually. She told me this guy with certain characteristics would call. She said I already knew him, but I couldn't think of anyone, figured she got something wrong. I didnt give it much importance. The next day, he called. I was in shock, I could even talk to him properly cause of what the psychic had told me. Since then I've just avoided him. Getting a reading really clears my mind and helps me focus on what I want. It's a very positive experience for me. My sister hates it, though. Scared of what she knows is true.

All Caterpillar did was say what SHE does, not what anyone else should do. Lighten up, indeed.

i'd be pretty scared to talk with a psychic and know that my life was destined for something horrible but i've considered it only because i'm curious about my career.

i am a big believer in second sight--for people who really have it. i play with all of the online options for fun, but i did a face-to-face tarot reading once, just for general future, and she told me that my father or a father-figure in my life would die in the next 4 years. my dad died 3 and a half years later!! i forgot about it until later on. kinda super freaky, though. if i talked to a psyhic now, it would be for career.

My love is a psychic...and a family friend is also one. I'd never pay someone to read me because there are too many frauds. I rather not know then believe lies some one else got paid to tell me. I'm also a bit sensitive myself so I don't need a psychic..just know them ^^

I don't really believe in that's sort of thing, although some lady at my old job only asked for my name n that's the only thing she needed n a few weeks later she gave me a letter tellin me some of the things that would help me career wize n guess what?? That's exactly the field am in at the moment..that had always been my ideal career..n the relationship part she was also I don't really know...I guess it depends whop you go to..n she didn't charge me not one penny.

I had my palms read once at a Buddhist temple (my mom is Buddhist), but I can't remember much of the experience. A monk read them. As far as a psychic go... I would like to try it, but I'm kind of scared that if the prediction comes true, then the surprise would be ruined, you know? If I could ask any question... Hm... I'll get back to you on that.

Why bother? I went once with a friend and when we compared notes two days later, we realized that they (the two phsychics at the place that night) had told us the exact same thing! Eff that.

I have actually called my local radio station while they have a coffee psychic on, and she gave me a quick reading based off of one question I asked. Most of it has come true thus far, but I am waiting until I graduate to see if the rest will come true. I do believe though that people do have psychic abilities and can see things that others cannot see. I very much believe in fortunes and horoscopes.

You'd be surprised actually.. one of the mediums who works for me picked up that somebody was being kept awake by roadworks at night and that she should speak to the council about it AND that she was choosing out glasses frames the previous day and that her (deceased) grandfather liked the ones with the pink frames!! I know that this is my business but that doesn't mean I buy into ALL of it. I've met some right hacks but also a lot of people who have truly astounded me.

no. they all give generalized, generic statements. it's the same as horoscopes. what they say can be applied to everybody.

I don't know if I would want to know anything. While sometimes it would be nice to get assurance that everything will be OK, I think I'd rather not jinx myself.

i'm gonna agree with a couple of other people and say career stuff! i came to grad school thinking i wanted to do one thing, and now i realize i do NOT want to do that...but now i'm not sure *what* i want to do! i have never been to a psychic or palm-reader or anything, but i think it would be fun :)

if anything, I would ask if I'm doing the right path. I've seriously changed a lot of things lately- schools, chosen careers, new job, considering going extremely serious with my boyfriend of 2 years- I would just like outside assurance that things are going okay. of course...if the psychic said anything other than "yes things are brilliant continue!" i think I'd ignore it. :) advice doesn't really work anyways.
