In a perfect world, I agree all women should support each other and keep "each other informed." But I'm not so sure I agree with this advice. Kaitlin may not believe you, she may blame you, she may get you in a lot of trouble. And believe me, it's going to get around who told and when the guy finds out, your supervisor no less, you'll be lucky to retain your job for very long. If you feel you owe it to her, make the communication anonymous. I told the truth to a man I was dating at work once about a so-called friend of his, what happened? I got dumped. It's not a perfect world.
