That article was insightful. I don't agree that if Obama doesn't win its a victory for racism. The two are polar opposites on issues. So a vote for McCain should not be a vote against a black man. But I guess that's how some people feel - according the the article.

This election seems to taking a toll on some people's health. "Barack Obama's candidacy represents a pivotal moment in history, and many African American women are having a visceral reaction to the final, frantic days of the presidential campaign."

I just wonder what will happen to this part of Sugar after the election ends - will we all suddenly run out of things to say? Someone should warn Giggle and Savvy to come up with additional material by the 4th, and pronto. :P

I'm not voting for president, and I can't stand either candidate. So, I should be feeling fine, but I'm very anxious about a President Obama's high court appointments.

I just want it to be over. I think I will miss the suspense after it is over, though.

Absolutely - at random points throughout the day, or worse at 3 am, I'll be gripped by near despair when I try to imagine November 5th after a McCain win. Then sometimes I feel so sad for my conservative brother, because he was thrilled when McCain picked Palin. I want it all to be over - and I want it to go my way!
