The premise of this commercial is that a poor rittle Chinese baby tries to eat her "laspberry" Jerro with her chopsticks, and can't, of course, so she needs to be introduced to the more advanced Western spoon. Or maybe the point of the ad is to make fun of Asian people speaking English as a second language. The 60s and 70s were not great times for Asian-Americans on television. Check this out, too. (This makes me long for the intelligence of commercials featuring Paris Hilton eating a burger while washing a car...)
