"think about it objectively before you go off because you have nothing but support for the man." As opposed to your carefully researched and objective review of everything George Bush did and said before you voiced any opinion? Please.

TS and Wren - I am not saying that I agree with it. BUT the wedding and the birth are not good as comparisons, this is something that happened in the digital age, they just happened to have a microphone and a camera , but not video. I can't believe that, not that I think it is sinister reasons, think about it objectively before you go off because you have nothing but support for the man.

And have we seen a video of Obama even being born? :ponder:

I've never seen a video of the Obamas' wedding. It MIGHT not have happened. And that means those little girls are bastards. I mean, why not just release a tape and release the certificate? WHY?

I said I can't blame conspiracy theorists for taking it and running with it because Obama GAVE them the opportunity to take it and run with it. You automatically assume what I am thinking in my statement and jump down my throat.... doesn't make me look like the @ss

"I totally see where some conspiracy theorists would take that and run with it, can't say I blame them." You ended with this, that's why.

"Hain for God's sake look at the picture - what, is Obama standing on the Koran???? This is why some people have such a hard time taking other people seriously." OMG calm down girl. i said that I didn't think that, i could just see why someone could be suspicious. Why didn't he release video of it, why only audio, the picture could have been done at any time. In this day and age of video, and he has video of so many other not important things, why not have a video. I just said that him NOT RELEASING a video is reason for people to doubt. You can't say that doesn't put things in people's head, crazy people, maybe... but still people. Still citizens who vote in every election. If I were him, I would b crossing every T and dotting every I..... But obviously I cannot say that without people jumping down my throat.

LMAO! Speaking of now they're talking about where is the bible in the second swearing in. Well fortunately for most of us and to the dissapointment of those who really wanted to see a 3rd swearing in the bible part is just tradition not a constitutional requirment.

"I totally see where some conspiracy theorists would take that and run with it, can't say I blame them." Do they really think that Roberts is in kahoots with him? That he deliberately muffed the oath so he could readminister to Obama in a more private setting so that Obama could use the Koran? Please. Conspiracy theorists don't need anything to "run" with. They just make shit up and then claim anyone who disagrees is up Obama's ass.

Personaly I could care less about the flub but I don't see what the big hubub is about. As citizens of course we couldn't give two flies if a couple of words were twisted around but this isn't everyday b.s. between citizens this is the oath of the highest office in the land and the most powerful person in the world. This is serious business in the language and construct of goverment there fore it was proper to redue the oath. I saw nothing wrong with Wallace calling out the Cheif Justice on his error either. He's not a common citizen who doesn't give two flies like the rest of us he understands the seriousness of the occassion and what the oath represents and was right in reporting the error.
StolzeMama StolzeMama 7 years
Now I was just thinking of something, someone said earlier people were questioning if Obama repeated the oath just so he could swear in on the kuran. And not that I believe this, but it is his fault people are saying that. He issues a "picture" of the repeat swearing in, from the shoulders up, and then an audio tape... I totally see where some conspiracy theorists would take that and run with it, can't say I blame them.

And here's SL's comment (the part pertaining to Maddow): I watch MSNBC and I happen to think they are very good. Rachel Maddow has a PH.D from Oxford. As I said, I didn't know the exact wording, so I looked it up (in my saved e-mails). I specifically said I didn't know the exact wording so SL wouldn't feel the need to correct me. Obviously, my effort was in vain.

Your own personal observations are fine, but my point was about the sources you posted and their reliability, not your own personal observations.
Jazz-Z Jazz-Z 7 years
Yes, lilkimbo, and of course you had a point, but I don't agree with it in this case based on my own personal observations with Fox News.
sexylibrarian sexylibrarian 7 years
I didn't say that it was better I said that I liked it better. I just said that Rachel Maddow had a PH.D from Oxford, now I am not sure why I felt the need to throw that in at all.
Jazz-Z Jazz-Z 7 years
Well, lilikimbo in that case I have to agree with you on comment 109.
