I adore that man. We are almost always on the same page... I don't know if I will laugh till my face hurts or if I will cry real tears the day that we get sick of this crap and seriously start boycotting things for real. There are more civilians than there are people who work for the government one way or another...

Silver, you just reminded me of Jon Stewart's latest point on the stimulus bill. He calls it 'revolution insurance' because if the American people get screwed much longer, they're going to get angry and turn on everyone.

I would love to know when idiots with a lot of money are going to stop ripping off the people the are funding their moments are stupidity... Perhaps we should consider this new and amazing rule that I've suddenly thought up...! If you waste an awful lot of american money, yet have lots and lots of your own money to set on fire...; then its time for us to put you and your friends out to pasture. Then in your honor, America will use your money to pay for education, medicare, a better health system, and so forth. *sigh* :(

"Tom Daschle's withdrawal will slow President Obama's mission to expand health care."I would have thought that the economy would be the main thing to slow down Obama's socialization of health care.

"There was an abject failure by the regulatory agencies we entrust as our watchdog," according to a copy of Markopolos' testimony, which was posted on the Journal's website. Markopolos said he gave evidence to the SEC's office in Boston beginning in 2000 and resubmitted the evidence several times over a period of nine years. This is sickening, the SEC has total blame for this one. I hope regulations will improve with the new adminstration.
