Dave, we're pointing out the hypocrisies of the situation. People say don't dwell on body counts, but if the foot was on the other side, it would be damn sure people would dwell on the body count. and Thanks Jude C :d

I don't think that thir religion has any bearing on the counting. I think that the people who are firing the rockets from those buildings is why it's time to get beyond the civilian casualties. It's a grim reality that you've got to expect when the enemy you are fighting is choosing to use their own civilian population as their sheild.

no Steph, you forgot, they're Muslim so dwelling on their body counts doesn''t matter.

You'd dwell on the body count if it was your family or Americans. Isn't all life sacred?

the Superbowls are usually pretty awesome. The last Super Bowl in Tampa was freaking awesome I was interning with the Patriots at the time and we got to go and I think I had too much fun. But to be honest, I like college Bowls more the excitements in the crowd are more lively.

If you want, I could just go to the superbowl for you. I'm not a huge fan of either team (although I'll root for Pittsburgh because they are the AFC team), but I've always wanted to go to the "big game":)

lol UnDave you could go in my place but I really like Tampa... especially Ybor City, so maybe not :D. I'm not really excited about the Superbowl this year though. Neither teams really excite me but I'm looking forward the NBA Finals too :DAs far as the underlining issues, there's a lot of deep mistrust and hate on both the Israeli and Palestinian sides for it to be resolved. Hamas want one thing and Israeli want another thing. There needs to be a serious compromise so that the people of Gaza can start rebuilding their homes and lives and the people of southern Israel won't have to worry about walking down the street and not being hit by a rocket fire.

I hope the cease fire works as well. I don't think we need to dwell on the body count. They just need to move forward from this point.

That's a shame that you have to go to Tampa Myst. I would be willing to go in your place, if you would rather stay home...:pray:The ceasefire is nice, but I hope the underlying causes of the conflict are addressed as well.

Let's hope the cease-fire is durable for the time being so that Israelis and Palestinians can start to get their lives back together. Since yesterday they've pulled over 100 bodies out from the rubles already, so the death count is going to continue to grow. Now let's hope that Hamas and Israel can keep their ends of the bargain. and I'll be in Tampa for the Super Bowl. One of the perks of my job.
