A little ironic, but the National Rifle Association held their convention at the same facility earlier in the year. It was good people and a good time!

First of all concealed weapons are allowed in Arizona as long as you have your CCW. This is the second amendment, most probably all people who carry concealed weapons aren't the crazies who start shooting people, they're one's who shoot back and defend themselves and others. I'm not saying I agree that this was the smartest thing to do, however it is his right and freedom to do this if he likes. On a side note this guy was just looking for his 15 mins. he's a libertarian looking to get his message across, did he succeed in doing that? Most definitely.

*I caught myself. Yes registered guns are legal NOW in DC but I just wanted to use the example of a 'state' that was still ridden with shooting deaths regardless of a gun ban.

This protest incorporated neither home protection nor target practice. What purpose did the weapons serve? Stupid and inappropriate. I would have had a panic attack if I'd heard a car backfire within a mile of them. I live in DC where guns are illegal and people get shot daily, so I'm not the most hardcore advocate of gun control (maybe $500 bullets instead, like Chris Rock suggested?) but come the f*ck on, pack mentality + riled emotion + guns is going to make America chill out about guns???

Well, I think it's irrational to bring (loaded) guns to a public event. There are families and children around, not to mention the President. What the hell is the gun for?? Yes, it's legal, but it's a bad idea.

I don't understand why people openly carrying guns in an open carry state is even news. Did anything bad happen? Was anyone shot or hurt? Were any laws broken? No. Then lets stop deviating from the real situation at hand.
