My problem is my skin. I went on vacation last year and when I came back, my arms and back began to peel. It hasn't gone away. I have tried everything to get rid of it. I've even tried to go tanning again as a solution. What can I do to make my skin all one color? It looks like I am peeling at all times. I'm freaking out - tank top season is starting! You need to see a Dermatologist. You could have Peeling Skin Syndrome which is a very rare inherited disorder. Its symptoms are continuous and irregular skin peeling and there are 2 forms of this disorder. One includes swelling and the other includes reddening. Does anyone else in your family have it? You could also have picked up a fungus while on your vacation that is causing the peeling and the discoloration. This can usually be treated with a topical cream in combination with an anti dandruff shampoo. If the peeling is affecting your back then the root of the problem could be your hair.
