I actually watched Glee and had no idea that the actor he talks about is gay in real life. So obviously he did a good enough job playing a straight guy to fool me! I will say, though, that I'm kind of torn on the article. He definitely could have said things in a less insulting way, but it didn't seem that he was intending to sound homophobic (and the author himself is an openly gay man, so I'm guessing he's not biased against other gay men). It kind of seemed like he was trying to open up an honest dialogue on the issue but that it came off wrong.
