Gore's Inconvenient Follow Up on Its Way — Would You Buy It?

Gore's Inconvenient Follow Up on Its Way — Would You Buy It?

Climate change crusader Al Gore is back with a new book — Our Choice. The follow up to An Inconvenient Truth will spell out everything Gore has learned in the last few years, including concrete solutions to the climate issue. As the title hints at, Gore will hammer home the need to make bold choices.

And of course the book wouldn't be relevant without a tie-in to the current economic crisis (people can only handle one crisis at a time!). Our Choice explains how green policies can create new jobs and stimulate the economy.

Would you choose to buy Al Gore's new book when it's released in November?

I would make it like the serials we used to see in Saturday movie matinees, every chapter ends with the hero or his girlfriend facing certain death, and the following week miraculously escapes.

Now if he would only take the time to listen to them janneth, maybe he would not be such an ideologue

Thank goodness scientists understand the truth of what he is writing about.

This book isn't going to provide more proof. It's just a follow-up on what Al Gore has learned in the last few years. We're still wanting to debate his claims from the first one, and yet Gore refuses. Why would we pay money which in essence shows support for a theory which he won't debate at length?

hypnotic, Al Gore does not have enough credibility. He avoids debating man made global warming with opponents like the plague. I just get tired of his hackneyed response that the debate is well settled when clearly it is not. That is why I posited my response as to whether or not I would read his book, based on some form of public debate, with a credible opponent.

I find it interesting how many people voted No, I hear enough about this in the media when one main criticism of Gore and the scientists he speaks for is that you want more proof in the details. Well the media isn't going to take the time to give you details so here's what you've been asking for and yet you vote no. I'll never understand people.

Let Al Gore get on a panel with some of those scientists that disagree with his his global warming theory. Lets see how that debate goes, and if Al Gore can present a compelling case, I would of course make it a point to read that book ASAP

He reminds me of the televangelists preaching to the masses about Christ's good works, asking for donations so they can reach more people, then taking the majority of that money to buy themselves mansions and fancy suits.

No, he is a hypocrite. And yeah, I bet he keeps all the $$$.

As much as I like Al Gore I have to say no to this. Every "would you buy this politician's book" question I answer the same thing, I should just stop posting a response to these.

Yay, a sequel! I'd like to check it out, I'm not sure where in the Barnes and Noble fiction section it will be located. It could be in fantasy, fairy tales, or sci-fi.

I wouldn't pay one red cent for his book. Besides, someone who spends thousands and thousands on his home heating/electric/gas bills isn't going to tell me how to cut back! Can you say hypocrite?

I'd borrow Gore's book from the library.
