Guantanamo Detainees Allege Being Injected With Drugs to Coerce Confessions: Adel al-Nusairi remembers his first six months at Guantanamo Bay as this: hours and hours of questions, but first, a needle. "I'd fall asleep" after the shot, Nusairi, a former Saudi policeman captured by US forces in Afghanistan in 2002, recalled in an interview with his attorney at the military prison in Cuba, according to notes.

With that argument, we can safely say that all humans are evil. So what do we do now? Yes, I agree that killing for any reason except for self-defense is barbaric.

hmmm...ok, christians don't do it based on differing belief system...but they did for centuries....but sure there have been some nations with very catholic presidents that go and bomb other nations...may not be because of religion, but patriotism, natiolism, greed or pure stupidity are equally disgusting reasons to kill other people...so i'm with zeze look in the mirror people

It's amazing what some people will say and defend. And I bet the people making these statements are the same people who claim Bush is doing good spreding "freedom" and "tolerance" to other nations. The Muslims hate, the muslims don't tolerate other beliefs, the muslims impose their will on others, the muslims are extremists....right, look in the mirror people.

Is lying really the issue here or is the issue injecting prisoners with a drug against their will? I think you are making an oversimplification by saying to hate Bush is to want to uphold some sort of law. Give people a little more credit Auntie and UD.

Where does the Koran give devout Muslims the ability to lie (and actually, it would give them permission, to give them the ability would make them physically capable which they already would be)? Are you aware that there are conflicting interpretations of the Koran, just as there are conflicting interpretations of the Bible? You're sliming an entire faith with very flimsy evidence. "Notes taken from a cave" -- by whom, for whom? Anyway, we'll know if they're lying if we have the courage to investigate ourselves.

"Which truth is that Dave, that the Koran tells Muslims to lie or that Muslims "do not know what the term "truth" means to citizens of the USofA?" Can you honestly defend those statements?"I can defend both of those statements. The Koran does give devout Muslims the ability to lie to infidels without cause for concern. Notes were also taken from a cave in Afganistan telling the "followers of Islam" to create as much disruption if captured. How do you create disruptions from a country that allows detainees to be interviewed? You claim abuses, and if you have to lie, you do so.

Yeah Auntie, the truthfulness of your comments don't matter, especially since you aren't walking in line with the "I hate Bush" crowd. Keep fighting the good fight

It's more than one man Auntie and if you want to question the validity of the article, you might try to come up with a more intelligent counter-claim: tossing racial and religious insults doesn't strengthen your position.

This is so cute. Muslims can lie through their teeth because the Koran tells them if they lie to do damage to the infidel or to promote Islam, it is perfectly justifiable. I wouldn't trust one these Muslim pos's to tell the truth if he put his hand on his Koran and swore. Muslims do not know what the term "truth" means to citizens of the USofA. To them "truth" is what they say to cause havoc to Infidels. I am a Proud Infidel. I do not believe this story is accurate. It's just being told to stir up anti-war emotions. We cannot live using only emotions. This mans tale is meant to stir up emotions so that the voice of reason is overpowered. REASON speaks, but one must listen and not be overcome with emotions.

I really hope the next president investigates possible crimes, before one of the countries these detainees are from does (this guy's Saudi, but the article also quotes detainees from France and Britain).
