She thought we were nuts keeping them in the house because they're wild animals. The female was pretty wild, but Mr. Pig was all love. And I don't know if they think the brush is their mother. Hedgehogs like to scratch on things (probably because it hurts less to rub on something than to cut their feet on their own backs!). Ours had kitty litter boxes.
