High-End Escort Makes $2,000 an Hour

Sunday Confessional: I'm a High-End Escort

This week's confession comes from our anonymous Confession Booth group in the TrèsSugar Community. Weigh in with your advice below.

For the last year and a half, I've been working as a prostitute. I'm paid a minimum of $2,000 an hour to have sex with men. I wish there were a part of me that felt what I was doing was disgusting or wrong, but there simply isn't.

There's lots of great stuff going on in our community — join it, check it out, share your posts or advice in the great groups, and maybe we'll feature it here on TrèsSugar!

Good post.. however I have many dissargreements, the reason why I posted here was to show how what I do is not wrong, in fact it has been going on for hundreds of years if you look into the history of sex. I do not have a pimp or a madame(and believe those that do are in need of help and are most likely going down the wrong road) There is no revolving door with me I only see a couple influential men who have great ties to the community and I have known for years now. In regards to the money,I have full control as to where and how I choose to put my money ( I prefer paying for my education, investments, and current comfortable living. My select few clients happened to all have been men who I began to date and it turned into an arrangement where they supported my finances. It is there decision to see me, I do not force them or even seduce them to do so. I do believe that it is wrong to cheat on ones wife or girlfriend and would not approve of this for the men in my family. However it is their decision in the end. I benefit from my clients however it is their decision to see me just as much as it is me to see them. With that said I have planed my future and have the luxury of living comfortably and save money, while continuing higher education in order to get a well paying job once I graduate :)

imagine your father or brother paying for an escort, how would that make you feel? its not a question to hurt you just to give you a realization on how it would feel if your family or someone you cared about was involved into the equation. also imagine your father cheating on your mother with an escort, how would that make you feel? this is merely to test how you feel since you stated that you dont feel bad about what you do. w/no judgement i'd say, part of you does feel bad, guilty and ashamed, why you'd ask, well, i'd say, why do you have the need to post a thread about your personal endeavor? is it to show off your financial accomplishment? to boost your ego? or b/c you need reassurance in what you do from total strangers? there are many factures involved in your job choice, but you are your own adult and you make desicions that effect your life, in your situation it can effect a lot of people, like the people you sleep with, not every men you sleep is clean, even if you wear a condom, he might have something you dont want, or he might not want to pay you and try to harm you, or he's crazy and stalks you. many many many factors and risks involved in what you do. an escort is just a fancy way of calling a hocker, its like having a pimp and working the streets. its a hard business to get out of. fyi, i heard that in the future, prostitute are going to be replaced by Robot prostitutes. so you might want to start looking for another past time. best of luck to ya.

All I got to say is this has been a profession since the dawn of man. Like any dangerous job please be cautious. I would agree with Betty Wayne in the fact that I am both pro-marijuana regulation and pro-prostitution regulation.

I also work in the same field as you. I make about $1,000 an hour and I only a select few clients that I see on a regular basis. These clients are wealthy, well known, and affluent men. I feel lucky to be able to make this amount of money which covers costs of bills and helps with my loans. I myself am a normal, attractive and well educated with a college degree and am currently working on my Masters. Society is making you think that your doing something wrong and the fact that you don't feel guilty about what you are doing is wrong. For those that are saying you must have had a bad childhood are making ridiculous assumptions, they are trying to MAKE you feel like there must be something wrong with you. I do exactly what you did and had an amazing and normal childhood with a great mother and father! So do not make yourself feel guilty for no reason! Keep doing what you love and what works for you!

I'm not sure I believe this post, since an nymag article wrote about a woman who got top dollar as a high-end escort. The maximum price she managed to charge? $2000 an hour. Now this post is listing $2000 as a minimum? Has inflation pushed prices up that much? Doubtful (the article was written in 2005). From the article:
It was Natalia who got top dollar, as much as $2,000 an hour, with a two-hour minimum. In the history of Internet escorting, no one ever matched Natalia’s ratings on TheEroticReview.com, the Zagat’s of the escort-for-hire industry.
Of course, maybe it's the nymag article that's misrepresenting things. Who knows? When I googled the subject of high-end escorts, I turned up some writing by a self-professed "former high-end escort" that says high-end escorts don't even charge by the hour, they charge by the night. Along with a lot of other info that doesn't mash with either the nymag article or the confession on this page. Just google "an (ex-)call-girl's story". In any case, I agree with lilkimbo that human-trafficking/forced-prostitution would only get worse if the sex trade involving consenting adults were to disappear. So I wouldn't be so quick to condemn the consensual sort of trade. But I don't think it's so great and "empowering", either. Surely there is some middle ground between condemnation and praise.

All I could think about when I read the title is how fast I could pay off my school loans if I made that kind of money. Wow. And I've got to admit that I'm kind of impressed with the confidence (and beauty) girls like this must have. I don't think anyone would pay that kind of money to chill with me for an hour! If you're an adult, not being forced into anything, and happy with your job, then more power to you.

Torbach I think that's a pretty insulting stretch, I for one am NOT okay with any illegal activity as long as $$$ is exchanged. If the OP was making $2000 an hour killing people I would be horrified. I happen to be both pro-marijuana regulation and pro-prostitution regulation. As long as the dealer isn't shading people over, lacing their shit or hurting anyone, and as long as they knew the risks, I wouldn't have much of a problem with it.

I'm with those who say more power to you. Just stay safe and stop doing it if you ever become unhappy. As far as the point about sex trafficking, if sex work like the OP engages in (between two consenting adults) could become less taboo as well as legal and regulated, it would actually likely do a lot to decrease the amount of sex trafficking going on in our country.

If it is video taped and sold it is not prostitution, it is pornography and you are an "actress" . But seems to me the price tag might be at the cost of things some of the posters might not be interested in? I find it weird that most of the community seems okay, or at least secretly okay with, but I've seen threads about marijuana and about 1/2 the comments dismiss you as trash. Wonder if the same would be for someone making 2k hour selling drugs? Which leads me conclude people tend to legitimate anything as long as you make money.

Certainly there are horrible circumstances where young girls are hurt and sold into prostitution. This clearly is not one of those circumstances, so you really cannot compare them. What happens between consenting adults is their own business. I have read that generally attractive prostitutes charge approximately $180 dollars an hour. So $2000? Wow you must be a very attractive and skilled woman. I don't blame you for doing this, especially in this economy. I simply cannot explain to you how many people I know that are unemployed right now. Unfortunately it is a reality of life that we must make money, it is a matter of survival. I do not judge you in any way for what you are doing. I am just curious about the capacity to emotionally detach yourself from your body to such a large degree.

it is totally your desicion to make. if you are not bothered with it, i think it's ok.. it's no different than being your employer's slave or stay with your husband because he is rich. it is what we do everyday, just not at the same line, or may be only with the same man..

I wish I could make that kind of money, but I don't want to touch strange men. I'm not jealous of that aspect.

Ultimately it's your decision to do what you chose and people shouldn't judge. Protection does fail so educate yourself and protect yourself financially. Sex is great but it's not worth dying over.

Have you heard of Annie Sprinkles? http://anniesprinkle.org/home/welcome.html Maybe you can relate to her words. As long as you're being safe and happy with what you're doing, I don't see why you're attempting to make yourself feel bad. That seems silly!

SKG I am equally filled with shame. The OP was obviously kidnapped at a young age and is being repeatedly raped against her will, how could I not see that before? Thank goodness for the anons who have the sensibility to give sickening, uninformed, inhumane people like us a freaking reality check!
