Aren't most eastern euros wedding rings on the right? So Q 1 should be False. Anyway, the justification for the statement being true indicates that the engagement is on the left, then moved to the right at wedding - which is what the quiz is about.I feel like I'm in college trying to get extra points to raise my GPA!

I think it's the same with Russian Orthodox couples, Mädchen - I had a Russian professor in college who wore his wedding ring on his right hand, and once explained to us that it was traditional in Russia. I answered "false" as well because of this.

i answered false to question one as well. And the answer says there are other times when it's not worn on the left hand, so i dont get how number 1 is supposed to be true.

I answered 'false' on question 1, because here in Germany the wedding ring is worn on the right hand. Traditionally, it is worn on the left hand before the wedding (as an engagement ring) and then moved to the right hand after the wedding (or rather, it is taken off before the wedding to be engraved etc. and then put on the right hand during the wedding ceremony). Didn't know it was the same for Greek-Orthodox couples.
