I always have a book with me if I get stuck somewhere. amber512 5 years "Sometimes" feels like the wrong answer since I read multiple times a day, but I also don't do it for "several hours." WarEagleNurse 5 years Very often WarEagleNurse 5 years Very often MissSushi 5 years I'm an avid reader, and I read every single day. It just depends on the day and how busy I am or tired I am at the end of the night. I usually carry a book around with me, as well. My current video game addiction is also something that gets shared for personal time, so that changes it. nancita 5 years I love reading. I don't even really consider it a choice whether to read or not. I just can't help it. I read for my job, I read books on the bus, I read magazines while I'm brushing my teeth...I just love reading. Glad to see I'm in good company here! esmerb 5 years Reading is one of my favorite things about life. Lately I have been reading a lot more than usual. I think it's cause there are so many great books out! :) mrsld 5 years If you count my books on CD, then at least 1 hour a day/5 days a week (morning commute). If you count actual reading then only when on vacation. neonbee 5 years A few hours a day, even when I'm busy with schoolwork. Sometimes I dislike being accustomed to doing so, but reading is such a pleasure. genesisrocks 5 years I'll read a few hours but not every day. My free time usually comes in blocks so I'll read for long periods but not on a daily basis, maybe like every other day snarkypants 5 years i read for a living, so i rarely feel like reading for fun when i get home. which is really sad, because i used to love it. danakscully64 5 years Never, but I DO have time to do so. I only read online (like message boards and articles here), never books. I'm not much of a reader. It takes me a few years to finish a book... by the time I get to the end, I have no idea what happened at the beginning :P RoaringSilence 5 years I used to read so much more when I was taking public transportation to work or school every day. Now I'm in a place where they have none :( stephley 5 years Like Skigurl, I read less than hours a day but usually do read every day. I'm always on the lookout for good books - I keep a notebook of books I'd like to check out: I know I'll never get to half of them and the list keeps growing. TheEnchantedOne 5 years I don't have a schedule per se. I know some people have this goal of reading x number of books a month/year but I can't be like that. I only read when the mood strikes. And it's crazy. Sometimes months pass and I don't get to read a single book. But when I'm in the "zone", sometimes I would be up to reading 5 books a week. hex913 5 years I have a reputation for always having a book with me, I read whenever I can get a chance. Bettye-Wayne 5 years I'm with ski, I read daily but sometimes only for a few minutes for myself, and I read daily to my kid. I wish I had time to read for hours every day! michelle-c42934 5 years It varies for me. I'm super bored on my summer holiday right now, so I can get through a book or 2 a day. But during school I probably only read for up to an hour a day. foxie 5 years I agree with skigurl. I think short, daily-reading is "often." If only I had the luxury of an extra several hours a day to read. foxie 5 years I agree with skigurl. I think short, daily-reading is "often." If only I had the luxury of an extra several hours a day to read. ayuninur 5 years sometimes ayuninur 5 years sometimes skigurl 5 years According to this, I'm somewhere between Sometimes and Often - I read every day but not always "hours" per day...usually like half an hour a day before bed (sometimes longer, but sometimes only 5 minutes)...it all depends. But I wouldn't really consider "30 minutes a day" to be sometimes...that's pretty often...it's just that I don't have time really each day to read for like 2 hours...I have to work and do other stuff! carolineishere 5 years I'm always reading something, especially since I got my Nook e-reader from B&N. I read a lot before, but now it's so easy & there are many free ebooks. Google books is also a good source for free classics.
