Gone Girl was definitely my fave of 2012, but I want to be BFF with Pepperdavis, who is reading 3 of my favorite books of 2011. (Ready Player One on audio is read by Wil Wheaton. Ridiculously entertaining.)

I love "Mars & Venus On a Date" by Dr.JohnGray, and I love his and his daughter's website stuff too. I wish I had more time/"attention" to REALLY read it again (not just parts)

@likethedirection Les Miserables is one of my favorite books! It still astounds me how beautiful the language is, even post-translation.

I just finished Les Miserables.  Loved (parts of) it!  Currently reading Safe Haven from Nicholas Sparks and Fanny Hill, another "erotic novel" recommended for Fifty Shades readers.  The author, John Cleland, wrote the book in 1748 and it's been one of the most banned books in history.  So far I really like it.

I'm not really reading anything interesting right now,but I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who has not read 50 Shades of Grey.

I feel like this whole site is obsessing over Fifty Shades of Grey. Do you guys only read what's popular? Also the genre of the book is erotica- all the steaminess is there for a reason. The genre as a whole is huge with tons of other books and authors hat people say are better then this series (just check Goodreads). Try Lora Leigh and Loralie James.

As always, I'm in the middle of a lot of books.  Still not through Les Miserables, but enjoying it.  Just finished Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, which I thought I'd like more than I did.  Entertainment Weekly recommened the Crimson Petal and the White for readers of Fifty Shades of Grey so I'm reading that and enjoying so far.  And I've just started Fifty Shades Freed.  I LOVE the Fifty Shades series.

I love seeing what everyone is reading!  Such inspiration... I need to get my hands on "50 Shades of Grey" and also Emily Griffin's new book!
