Jon Stewart Responds to CNBC Host on His Variety Show

Last night Jon Stewart provided the latest round of laughs and blows in the case of Stewart vs. Cramer. Earlier in the day, CNBC host Jim Cramer went on an press junket to respond to the criticism he's been taking on the Daily Show. Well if NBC wants to defend Cramer, Stewart has MTV Networks in his corner. Check out Jon's own rehabilitation tour, which includes a cameo on The Hills and Dora the Explorer. I can't wait to see if Cramer shows up as a guest as planned on Thursday's Daily Show!

ya I would think political entertainment would be on citizen or giggle, and more likely citizen since most people who like straight up comedy find political humor very lame.

It's political satire.

I'm curious. Is Jon Stewart an entertainer or political pundit? If he's an entertainer, then let's get these stories on popsugar. I'm tired of hearing about what Jon says or does.

lol, he made them look like true pendejos - like its a show on comedy central, you having a heart attack over it is what gives it credibility. I loved the "my network doesn't have a slogan in Stewart we trust" and if your network said "Cramer: right sometimes, it would be fine" LOL

i like how cramer is on these shows with this innocent victim look on his face, the funny thing is that if jon stewart were only running a variety show, he wouldnt get under everyones skin so much.

I loved Dora's potty mouth! That and these comments Cramer made to TheStreet.com in '06 could make Thursday's interview real exciting: -On manipulating the market: "A lot of times when I was short at my hedge fund, and I was positioned short, meaning I needed it down, I would create a level of activity before hand that could drive the futures," -On falsely creating the impression a stock is down (what he calls "fomenting"): "You can't foment. That's a violation... But you do it anyway because the SEC doesn't understand it." He adds, "When you have six days and your company may be in doubt because you are down, I think it is really important to foment." -On the truth: "What's important when you are in that hedge fund mode is to not be doing anything that is remotely truthful, because the truth is so against your view - it is important to create a new truth to develop a fiction," Cramer advises. "You can't take any chances."
