So, will Roseanne be voting for McCain in the general election, as he has more experience in politics than either of the Democratic candidates?

Roseanne is wrong. Being a First Lady is good experience, but it is not the same as being President. And in her capacity as First Lady, her biggest endeavor, health care for all, was a colossal failure. Further, executive experience does not make a good President. Some of our best Presidents had never served in the executive branch at all (they'd been governors, or Senators, etc.). However, having the ability to actually dialogue with the opposition means that we'd actually get good legislation passed, instead of filibustered or vetoed or pocket vetoed. We don't need to have 24 straight years of a Clinton or a Bush in office. I look at their campaign spending, and it's clear to me how they operate. Clinton has a few wealthy friends who have maxed out their giving, and injected $5 mil of her own fortune into it. Obama has painstakingly gathered small donations from almost a million regular people, who can continue to give in a sustained way. Obama is smart, capable, strong and able to attract *extremely* smart and politically seasoned people to work for him (including some ex-Clinton people). And he said he won't surround himself with "yes people," but with people who will tell it like it is. A friend of mine was an aide to Hillary, and that is not how the Clintons operate. These are some reasons why I support Obama.

my dad worked for SABmiller and whenever prices went up and we asked wether it would affect the company as life was getting tooexpensive for tings like beer he'd smile and say a man will always find money for a beer. So true he could say he didn't hve money and in the same sentence say he was going to the bar.

:OY: at Roseanne :ROTFL: at indie Total change of subject: when I was on vacation in England a few years back, I, uh, did quite a lot of drinking. Like, midday drinking. I was all, "Everyone else is in the pubs and bars, why not me?" Which is why I really want to live there, but probably won't ever allow myself to!

It's also REALLY funny and ironic to me that they're turning to ROSEANNE, a washed-up sitcom star, of all people to convince us of what's best for America. Ahahahaha! This has made my entire day!

Roseanne is a nutjob..who cares what she has to say? It's like the Bill O'Reilly bull all over again. She rants and raves all the time in her MySpace blogs all the time. She loves to talk because she's got nothing else going on. Lame-brained AND insane in the membrane.
