Lunchtime Feels Like Social Suicide

Dear Sugar
At lunch, I sit with a group of 6 people. Whenever I speak, 1 of the girls gives me a disapproving look. It's a look that telling me to be quiet! And when I ask her anything directly, she just gives me 1 general short answer. So basically any conversation I try to start abruptly ends. I don't understand how she just chooses to not like certain people (she did this with another girl too). I've done nothing to offend her and now that it's the end of school, I'd really just like the drama to end so next year is better. Should I ignore the way she treats me or should I say something? Left Out Lizzie

Dear Left out Lizzie
Who does she think she is - Regina George from Mean Girls? Be your own person and don't even worry about her. In time you will realize that bossy and dominating girls like her are just trying to make you feel left out because they are so insecure inside. The only way they know how to feel better about themselves is to put others down. Don't you worry - she'll have her day of reckoning and I hope you've got front row seats for the show. In the meantime, try and smile and keep your head up high. I know she's making you feel badly, but ignore her and talk to the other girls during lunch. Don't give her the satisfaction of knowing she's hurting your feelings. Later beeeatch.
