My Mom, the Style Icon

Website du Jour: My Mom, the Style Icon

I love looking at pictures of my mom from the '70s. She was always decked in bell-bottoms, platform shoes, and a top that could only be terry cloth. She definitely had it going on! Now My Mom, the Style Icon posts pictures of stylin' mommas in their heyday, proving there was in fact, life — and style — before us!

My mom was glorious when she was younger and is still spot-on awesome in her fashion. She's the definition of classic when it comes to style. My dad was pretty stylin' himself. He was a teenager in the 50s and was a total bad boy greaser haha.

My mom was F.I.N.E. in her younger days. Still is. I only wish I could carry off most of the things she wore back then, today. *suppresses jealousy*

My mom was, and is, supper stylish in her 20s. I have used a lot of her clothes as an inspiration.

I have no doubt that my mom was stylish in her 20's. The problem is she has kept the same hair/makeup/clothing style for the past 30+ years.
