Obama Ad Uses Winking Palin

Click to Read

Obama Ad Uses Winking Palin The Obama campaign is directing reporters to an ad it released Wednesday morning that goes at both John McCain's understanding of the economy and (somewhat unusually) his selection of Sarah Palin for VP. The script (no narration) asks, "His choice?" — before cutting to footage of Palin winking at the vice-presidential debate. Too much?

"They make a point there based on his quotes so it's effective." I agree.

It's a fantastic ad. It just traps him in his words. Palin is cute and a good mother, but she sucks at economic polices.

I think she's adorable too! But I do prefer her when I don't have to hear what she is saying, just winking... ;)

Succinct, and to the point. These are our choices.. Obama/Biden or the (self-admittedly) economy savvy challenged Maverick and his distraction.

Ouch. They make a point there based on his quotes so it's effective. I liked her winks. I think she's adorable.

Oh this ad is great, I don't see how anyone could think it's "too much." Just like TS said, it's negative, but not a smear, and it just uses direct McCain quotes and then a shot of's very good! If it's "too much" that he used that stuff, then maybe it was "too much" for McCain to say those things and "too much" for Palin to wink! Which she did, like 100 times, she kind of brought that on herself...

I liked that ad a lot. It's a negative ad but it's not a smear ad.

I can't wink. Never have been able to. So I admire her ability to wink. She does it so effortlessly.

I think it's just right: at the vice presidential debate, Palin's emphasis was on her folksiness, she winked throughout the debate and never said anything that would suggest anyone would want to lean on her economic know-how.

since it seems that this election clearly isn't going to stick to relevant topics i.e. actual politics then I don't think there is anything wrong with using her winking. I mean she did actually wink didn't she, if people are going to put out pictures of him not wearing a flag pin then I think putting something out there of her winking isn't a low blow. I mean he actually didn't wear a flag pin a one point ( not relevant to anything) and she actually winked ( not relevant to anything either)
