When texting first hit the scene, it was a convenient, quick way to convey a message without killing costly cell phone minutes. But convenience gave way to annoyance with the rise of text message break-ups, textual harassment, and — OMG! — texting while driving. One would think that texting while walking would be the better way to move and message at once, but not so fast. Those damn lampposts keep getting in the way!
