If it's something that you want and can do, I highly recommend eloping. I work at an event venue, and all the best receptions have been whimsical, family-friendly brunches or hilarious, late-night parties days (or weeks) after an elopement. I think that it definitely helps keep everybody saner as well, since you don't have the added anxiety of a ceremony's formal choreography and picking a practical date for others, and couples typically seem much more well-rested. The intimacy element is also beautiful.

To me eloping is the perfect wedding. To me weddings are more about the guests than the bride and groom. Eloping, on the other hand, is more about the couple. I do see myself eloping!

I don't know if I could elope in the traditional sense, but I absolutely love small intimate weddings. The weddings in these photos all seems so beautiful and romantic.
