MandyJoBo 7 years I love ties for some reason. I love buying them, I love seeing my fiance in them, I love seeing other people in them... there's just something about a tie! I like the yellow tie here best. tundrababe 7 years I always notice the tie! I always suspect they're sending a message with the tie (remember when Bill wore Monica's tie?). It's confusing when they wear the opposition's color. ilanac13 7 years i like the blue tie - it's a bold color but not in your face. i was going to say that the no tie idea works for me - but i remembered that we're not looking to elect our best friend to office - it's something that we need to remember. you have to have a certain presence about you if you're going to run one of the strongest countries in the world - and no tie and rolled up sleeves just seems too laid back for me. Kellylicious 7 years I think that no tie is unprofessional, unless it's a casual setting. Did it get the most votes solely because the picture is Obama? I'm pretty sure he wore a tie in the debates. He looks great in both red and blue. As for no category for Hillary, I think it would be like her coming in with sneakers on instead of pumps! Could you imagine the uproar! HA! wackdoodle 7 years I actually really like the red tie. It's the perfect shade of red to attract a women's eye. A blue-based red so it's deep. Didn't even notice who's wearing it. Who's wearing it?I like the royal blue with the patterned tie next. I guess I like the deep hues over the muted. wackdoodle 7 years I actually really like the red tie. Yes. onabanana 7 years Oh and almost every Female Senator and House member has either a red suit or dress. onabanana 7 years Oh and almost every Female Senator and House member has either a red suit or dress. onabanana 7 years The guy in light blue is Joe Biden and the politicians in DC usually go with Blue or Red...I think it's supposed to send subconscious signals. Jillness 7 years Question, where is the picture of "no tie" Obama from? Is it after a debate, or on Ellen? Jillness 7 years Question, where is the picture of "no tie" Obama from? Is it after a debate, or on Ellen? esk4 7 years this will out me as a major dork but... in the 2004 elections my boyfriend and I would make bets over what color tie the candidats would wear durring debates... potc-crazyy 7 years The no-tie look /is/ unprofessional, but I still like it.And I think this tie wins...http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1039/539452183_419ca4c66e.jpg potc-crazyy 7 years The no-tie look /is/ unprofessional, but I still like it. Put on a tie, for crying out loud. I am loving the red. It's bold. The blue looks wayyyy too corporate. kitkatherine 7 years i love the red tie. it's fun. it's like red pumps.. for a guy bailaoragaditana 7 years To be honest, I don't really notice ties unless they're particularly extravagant, and these options are all pretty plain... blondie01 7 years lol....because she doesn't wear ties (obama had the option to)? Princesskitty22 7 years Is it bad that I'm not sure who the guy wearing the light blue tie is? ktownpolarbear 7 years um, so does anyone else realize that this poll excludes hilary? philleif 7 years I firmly believe that all of these politicians could benefit from a good kick in the ascot. NYYPrincess 7 years I think it's really unprofessional looking without the tie (while running for office). Jillness 7 years Is it bad that I have never noticed what tie color the candidates are wearing?
