Product of the Day: The Sound Princess Bathroom "Noise" Blocker

Product of the Day: The Sound Princess Bathroom "Noise" Blocker

I'm not big on fart humor, but when a product like this comes along, I gotta share it with you guys. The Sound Princess is installed in public restrooms in Japan to allow dainty women to mask unpleasant sounds that may result from, uh, doing what comes naturally. Press a button and you hear--the sound of a flushing toilet.

The inventor realized that women were "double flushing" (am I really writing about this?) to mask the sounds and that her product was helping to save water--13 liters for every withheld flush. Could a product to mask unpleasant smells be far behind? That sure would have helped this lady and an entire airline flight. (Thanks again, Queen of Noise. Where do you find this stuff?!)

I remember the first time I got drunk was in Japan and I had to go to the bathroom and the toilets were like holes in the ground at the subway station! It was a craaazy night!

Japanese restrooms are crazy. One of my friends was over there once and hit the bidet button instead of the flush by mistake. She said she now knows why Japanese girls giggle.

I wish I knew what kind of sounds they make. It'd be awesome if they made barnyard noises, and you could pick a sound respective to the force of your, uh, emission--from a little "quack" to a full-throttle "moooOOOooo!" But that probably goes against the whole point, huh? What can I say--I kind of like fart humor, myself. ;)
