To commemorate Victoria Day, the unofficial beginning of Summer in Canada and celebration of all things Queen Victoria, a Queen Victoria look-alike contest was held in Toronto this week. The contestants ranged from the young, beautiful Victoria we saw portrayed by Emily Blunt in The Young Victoria to the older, squatter matriarch. And what would a 21st-century contest be without Queen Victoria in drag?
But not even the most bejeweled drag queens were a match for the prim, proper, and 30-year-old Elizabeth Fitzgerald. She donned the queen's signature black, which she wore after her husband's (and cousin) death for the rest of her life. Would you say she's the perfect match?
