Rove Ignores Subpoena, Refuses to Testify
Former White House adviser Karl Rove defied a congressional subpoena to testify Thursday about allegations of political pressure at the Justice Department. Lawmakers subpoenaed Rove in May in an effort to force him to talk about whether he was involved in the firing of federal prosecutors two years ago. He had been scheduled to appear at a House Judiciary subcommittee hearing Thursday morning. A placard with his name sat in front of an empty chair at the witness table, with a handful of protesters sitting behind it calling for Rove to be arrested.

This is just another in a long line of examples of this administration feeling they are above the law.

Rove is special. He can just ignore subpoenas. Just wait and see.

Imagine that, the architect of the 'party of accountability' propaganda isn't accountable! It's just such a sign of this administration's hypocrisy. . . I will say that Congress should wait until February 1009 to convict him of Contempt so that Bush can't pardon him like he did Scooter Libby!

Isn't there a little jail in the Capitol where Congress is allowed to hold people like Rove, Bolten and Miers?
