Not one of the countries defined as a 'sham democracy,' no state with a power struggle among different factions, no country considered 'developing.' Basically I'm saying let's compare apples to apples, here.

What exactly does a "stable country" mean? Just curious...

PS my office (President of CA State Senate, Don Perata) is sponsoring a huge gun buy-back in the Bay Area tomorrow, in response to all the violence that's been going on recently. We're giving $250 cash for all working handguns and assault rifles, with no ID needed and no questions asked. If you know someone with a gun in the Bay Area, please tell them about it. http://dist09.casen.govoffice.com/index.asp?Type=B_PR&SEC={E85E2A32-0F18-42FC-8686-447AB9E41503}&DE={5BEB6DBE-2B03-4C71-B02A-4D34DF0F11BB}

Please Caterpillar, share with us this information: where else in the world does a stable country have the level of gun violence we do? I'd love to know.

You might not have the patent on sudden gun violence but you have the most school shootings which is scary man, school should not be somewhere peole fear to go. I can't imagine having gun detectos or whatever they are called and metal detectors at school doors.

We live in a time now where kids spend a good portion of their life in front of computers or televisions, watching or actively participating (i.e. video games) in violent actions.I'm not for regulating anything of this stuff, but I believe many parents are allowing the boundaries to slip way to far. When someone spends so much of their lives with violence as a normal aspect of their lives and parents either chose not to discipline their kids or are barely allowed to discipline their kids, I believe, sadly, this trend will continue forward.I find this to be incredibly sad for all aspects.

Maybe America doesn't have the patent on "sudden gun violence", I don't know the statistics, but it is too easy to get a gun in most states. WAY easier that in most first world countries. There should be more gun control.

Good grief - It is Chaos Month or something? From natural disasters to sugar plants exploding to shootings. I mean my calendar say February not Chaos & Anxiety Month.
