Haha yeah it's obviously intentional. I've only seen the Jerk Chicken one on the street but there are others coming, including a tailor with "My Neighbour Says Size Matters," and "My Neighbour Sells Home Grown" with a picture of an old man with a bag of produce. You can see them all here: http://bit.ly/EzxUX

Of course it was intentional, Canadians are not that naive. It's meant to be funny... slogans range from "My neighbour says size matters" (tailor), to "My neighbour gets on my nerves" (massage therapy).....

I understand the culinary take, but I still think it's vulgar.

I was going to say the same thing Tres. I don't think it is an attempt at humor at all. They are saying that their neighbor is a business man that they are trying to support mom and pop businesses.

I haven't seen that one around. I will have to keep my eyes open. It is really funny. And most everyone here in Toronto would get the Jerk Chicken reference. We have a very large Caribbean community.

Skigurl, Jerk Chicken is a Caribbean speciality; it's a kind of spiced barbeque marinade. :)
