Sleeping Trouble And Dream Interpretation

Dear Sugar
I've had a rough time sleeping the past couple of weeks.

Every night, I seem to have terrible dreams about: accidents, anxiety inducing situations, fights, arguments etc... These are really nasty things that make me feel restless and cranky when I wake up.

What can I do to stop having such bad dreams and what do you think my dreams mean? Unsettled Sari

Dear Unsettled Sari
I've done a little bit of dream analysis interpretation for you and this is what I've come up with. Dreaming about:

  • Accidents = Unexpected changes in your life. Are you upset or is your life currently being threatened?
  • Arguments/Fighting = Violent resolutions to problems you are experiencing. Fighting is a way to release pent up energy. It's also a way to build or resolve conflict.
  • Anxiety = Facing and overcoming enemies. It can also mean happiness and good health (- all good options).

Millions of people can't fall asleep. I've included some helpful tips to get your body into relaxation mode for night time. I've also written about a gal who was so stressed out she was literally losing sleep over her job.

I can not emphasize enough the health benefits of getting proper amounts of sleep. Like any other problem, this will take some work. Try a few of my suggestions to see what works for you.
