Sweet or Salty?

Dear Sugar
During my pregnancy I became addicted to chocolate. My son is 18 months old now and I'm still having these cravings. At night, I eat chocolate: cookies, ice cream, donuts, cakes and Hershey Bars. I am 35 years old and I am not overweight, but one of these days, all of this chocolate is bound to catch up with me. I never liked sweets before and I want to go back to being a salt person! Sweet Melissa

Dear Sweet Melissa
Try and control your urges at night by drinking lots and lots of water - I mean drink until you feel like you are going to explode! Once you are full, you won't want to eat anything. I am sure your chocolate addiction feels like a hormone thing, but it's not. It's just a force of habit - sweet cravings are a state of mind. Once you start eating them, you'll need more and more. Try completely cutting them out for a few days - I'm willing to bet that will curb your sweet tooth a little bit.
