What's Tackier?

What's Tackier?

There's nothing that makes me cringe more than walking into someone's bathroom and finding, to my horror, that there are weird bathroom accessories or signs that call too much attention to what I'm about to do in there. Case in point — see the silly (and surprisingly expensive in the case of one item!) bathroom accoutrements below? What's tackier?

Followed the links. Though I think the oldschool "How to pee" sign would bug me more, the cat thing is just freaking odd...I mean, ok, I could live with the cat head thing easier, as someone said above, perhaps little old ladies like them. BUT.. For over a HUNDRED BUCKS?? O_O

The rules!! I don't like posters and other things that have rules which are supposed to be funny... they're just tacky.

Reminds me of all those signs people get for their pools: "I don't swim in your toilet, so please don't pee in my pool." Or... "Welcome to our OOL. Notice there is no 'P' in there. Let's keep it that way." :oy:

I don't get the cat seat. Does it mean something?

i actually knew someone who had a photo of their actual cat put on their toilet seat. how weird is that?! i think the sign and the cat are both equally uncalled for in a home bathroom. in a bar, sure. but at home, no way. likety split: they asked you how you liked it?! not only is that bizarre, but i actually hate those padded ones. especially when someone lets it age a bit and the outer covering starts to crack. gross. beautijunki: i totally agree. as much as i'm against the cat seat and the sign, hosting a party really does mean stocking TP more than you could ever think would possibly be used. why put your guests in such an uncomfortable position?

do we really need a sign telling us how to go? how old do they think we are?? The cat toilet seat I could tolerate, but the sign has got to go!

both are silly, but i find it the worst when a host didn't stock tp in the bathroom and the roll is down to the last few squares! :p

The cat toilet seat is disturbing. I don't think I could get over the thought that the cat was in the toilet waiting to bite me on my ass!

i agree, and books in there bother me to, how much time f=do you spend in there? never mind, tmi! i voted the sign. reminds me of the also horrible "i don't swim in your toilet please don't pee in my pool". if you need to be instructed on these things, you probably shouldn't be invited. one time i was at someone's house and they had a padded toilet seat. when i came out they asked me how i liked it. my god.

Oooh it's a close one! HAHAHAHA can't believe it's so evenly split. Anyways, I'd think the sign was pretty obnoxious but the cat ... I'd probably run out of the bathroom! It's creepy!

I really don't need to be told how to pee.

I agree, the sign is just too much. I can imagine many old ladies have cat head embroidered toilet seats :P
