What To Wear to An Outdoor Wedding

Dear Sugar
My husband and I are invited to attend his brother's wedding next weekend and I don't know what to wear. It is an outdoor wedding on a ranch in Texas. I've asked everybody what the dress code is and they all tell me that it is a typical Texan wedding so don't wear anything too fancy. I just married into the family a month ago and I don't want to look bad. Any advice on what you think I should wear? Dress To Impress

Dear Dress to Impress
In my experience with Texans - as long as your hair and make-up are flawless and your outfit matches (I'm talking bag to shoes) then you should be alright. I would wear something flowy, and err on the side of neutral - meaning wear a plain sundress, perhaps something strapless, solid and ankle length (not too short, not too long). Choose 1 piece of jewelry that makes a statement about you and play down the rest. Smiling is always the best accessory too. You're going to knock em' dead so don't worry about a thing. If your husband loves you, they will too!
