No worries. It's the winter weight - we're all in hibernation mode. First things first - completely cut out carbs for 3 days. Drink more water than you've ever thought possible and the bloating should dissipate. You can lose about 3 lbs doing this. You also have to begin exercising ASAP. Cardio is the only way to burn calories, so hit the treadmill or take a spin class. Eat a high protein, low fat diet and get your metabolism moving. You won't lose 12 lbs, but you'll start to feel better. It's tough to get started, but once you do, it's addicting.
