Would You Rat Out Someone Who Is Stealing At Work?

The late Dean Martin once said that "Everyone has a little larceny in him. It's a little bit of original sin, only some of it's not too original." What would you do if you found out that someone you work with has been stealing?

I don't understand why someone wouldn't, it's called good ethics

As a matter of principle you probably should report. I guess if I'm being honest with myself though, it would depend on what was being stolen. Something stupid like pens or sharpies I'd look over it. Money of any amount or anything like that I'd have to report. ---------------------- People are like stained-glass windows. Yeah, probably would, especially if I didn't like them.

i don't have to rat someone out. my work has its own inspectors and they are always watching people.

It's a must. You have to tell just as a matter of principles. Stealing is BAD!

I gain nothing from it so I'd steer clear of this one.

Not true if you can't prove it.

Hmm. I wish I could answer this, but I would be a damn fool to do it on my work computer.
