Year-End Poll Results: First Dates

Two weeks ago I asked you how many first dates you went on in 2007 and the option of zero to five won by a landslide! I don't know about you, but I hate dating! I feel like I'm being put on the spot, and trying to impress the guy I'm with really isn't much fun.

Even though the majority of you are in committed relationships, there were still 13 percent who were dating machines this year. Since the grass is always greener, let all the taken women out there live vicariously through you and share some of your best- and worst-dating stories of the year! Come on, you must have at least one or two!

Lol Cupcake, that's hilarious! You're right, it should definitely be featured in a movie, "The Unexpected" based on a true story hehe

Ok, here's something that happened to me that should be featured in a movie. I move across the country. At the office picnic I meet the friend of a co-worker who is there as a guest. He's charming the pants off my parents (who were visiting at the time) and then proceeds to ask me out on a date on the ride home. We start going out on dates, everything is going great, and then we go to the office Christmas party together. He starts engaging in great conversation with my coworker Brad (who happens to be gay), and I think "Yay! He made a friend!" On our next date things are unexpectedly awkward, and we decide to call it off for a while. The next day at work, Brad tells me this guy texted him and asked him out to dinner!! Turns out this guy swung for the other team the entire time. The situation was so ridiculous I couldn't bring myself to be upset about it, I'm still laughing. Life is funny sometimes.
