Haha, I know! But in my case, it's my dad's homecooked meals. He's the most amazing cook ever. I could never get my versions of his creations to even come close!

I've cooked all my own meals every since I was about 12, because I was a vegetarian and my parents weren't. Now whenever I come home, they ask me too cook for them :)

Oh so true!! My pancakes and eggs NEVER taste like my moms. I always have to go home to get those :) And I haven't even tried to make her homemade gravy yet... so dreading how horrible mine will turn out to be! HAHA :ROTFL:But! My roast does taste just as good!
